Reclaimed soil from building projects that has been recycled and screened down to 10mm to remove larger debris but has a higher small stone content than the Grade 1 Topsoil option. This process leaves an easy-to-work, free draining material suitable for building up ground levels to the required depth and can be used as a base for laying turf.
As with most recycled soils, it may still contain occasional small pieces of glass, slate, or tile. These can easily be removed by hand once the soil has been levelled and raked. This is a cost-effective option for gardeners who need to bulk out areas or raise ground levels and are looking for a budget-friendly soil solution.
